Seeing the growing demand of African textiles worldwide, a trade event, exclusively highlighting the textile and apparel products of the continent, will be hosted in South Africa’s Cape Town from April 9 to 12, 2013.
Titled as ‘Source Africa’, the fair will be attended by a range of trade delegates, especially textile, apparel and fashion entrepreneurs, from around the world.
Acting as a promotional platform for African manufacturers before local and international buyers, the event will be organized by the famous South African trade show organizing company LTE South Africa.
Representatives from well-known global apparel companies like Hugo Boss (Germany), Ash City Worldwide (USA), PVH Corp, Edun (USA), Ralph Lauren (USA), Marks & Spencer PLC, New Wide Group Inc and Amer Sports (France) are expected to attend the four-day-long show.
Over 100 African exhibitors will exhibit their varied product ranges, such as denims, home furnishings, hosiery, leather garments and men’s, women’s and children’s wear, at the event.
The fair will also feature sewing machinery, auxiliaries, components and chemicals as well as textile business related services.
Other than the vast display of various textiles, business seminars led by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) will also be hosted on the sidelines of the expo.
