Vermont Farmstead Cheese has introduced a new line of cheeses,the flavored WindsorDales.The company noted that WindsorDale is a raw milk cheese made using a late 1800 farmhouse Wensleydale recipe.
The new product is a hard cheese with a hint of tart apple,a honeyed aftertaste and firm,flaky texture.
The new line features Cranberry WindsorDale,with whole cranberries that burst with tart flavor;Blueberry WindsorDale,including whole blueberries;Chocolate Stout WindsorDale featuring a brew that finishes with an chocolate note;Cracked Pepper WindsorDale,that features the taste of fresh black pepper;and Hot Pepper WindsorDale,with features taste of both jalape?o and chili peppers.
