Planters Reports New Food

Planters, the American snack nut brand owned by Kraft Foods, has launched Planters NUT-rition - its new peanut butter product in three flavors.

The new product features wholesome ingredients like bananas, granola, berries, raisins, cinnamon and nuts. Made with real chunks of granola and dried fruit, it has zero trans fat per serving.

Kraft Foods noted that Planters NUT-rition peanut butter, which is made with a peanut butter base, is nutrient dense and a good source of energy, providing 6 to 7g of protein per serving and at least five vitamins and minerals.

Planters NUT-rition peanut butter is available across the US in 12 oz. jars, with a suggested retail price of $3.49-$3.99. It's available in three flavors: Cinnamon Raisin Granola Nut, Banana Granola Nut and Berry Nut.
