ARM will take 68% of the embedded processor market in 2016 – up from 60% today, says IDC
IDC expects the embedded processor market will grow 23% between 2012-16 to reach $47.3bn.
That represents 3.65bn embedded processors to be shipped in 2016 compared to 2.54bn in 2012.
Intel’s share of the embedded processor market will increase from 2% last year to 5% in 2016, says IDC..
