It is reported that Russia's largest iron ore producer Metalloinvest planned to commission the third hot briquetted iron (HBI) plant at its Lebedinsky iron ore mining and processing plant (LebGOK) in the Belgorod region, west Russia, in early 2016. Meanwhile, the company has tried to submit all necessary documents to government for approval included the project's design and specifications during this month. According to data released that the state government will expect to take review up to three months in order to get a building permit then the construction to start by the fourth quarter of 2013. In the meantime, the company has invested approximately US$850 million and the project will expect to complete within 30-32 months.
