Shaw Floors is proud to be a sponsor of five beautiful show homes across the U.S. in 2013. Shaw has partnered with some of the nation's top shelter publications to introduce inspiring show home experiences that display Shaw flooring in a variety of creative traditional, modern, and imaginative spaces. Thousands of visitors are expected to tour these celebrated homes.
"We are very excited to sponsor these five specialty show home projects, each designed to showcase product so thoughtfully by some of the nation's top interior designers," said Kathy Young, marketing director for Shaw Floors. "We will reach thousands of consumers through these show homes and direct them to their nearest Shaw retailer location to create their own space starting with a Shaw flooring foundation."
Shaw will once again sponsor the highly anticipated Southern Living Idea House, located in Nashville, Tennessee on the beautiful Fontanel Properties. The home is steeped in southern charm and prepped to become an inviting bed and breakfast. Shaw's eco-friendly Epic hardwood is displayed in the Panorama style. Visitors are invited to attend the open house event June 29, and tours will run from June until December.
Shaw is also a proud sponsor of the 2013 Country Living House of the Year. The editorial team of Country Living is working with a homeowner from Breezy Point, NY, one of the hardest hit areas of Hurricane Sandy. As a part of Country Living's 2013 House of the Year project: "Home Again", the beach bungalow was renovated and redecorated. Featuring Grand Canyon hardwood and Shaw Living rugs, the home has been designed to create a welcoming family environment.
The Traditional Home O'More Designer Showhouse is a collaborative between Traditional Home and Nashville area graduates of the O'More College of Design to benefit their alma mater. Located in Franklin, Tenn., this 4,500 square foot home features 12 designer spaces to attract local home enthusiasts in one of the country's hottest design markets. Featuring Shaw Pebble Hill hardwood, this home is sure to welcome many through its doors.
Traditional Home has also introduced the Traditional Home Hampton Designer Showhouse. For five years, Traditional Home has been the national media sponsor of the Hampton Designer Showhouse, one of the east coast's most prestigious show homes. 30+ famed designers showcase their designs to more than 7,000 design enthusiasts who will tour the property in Sag Harbor, NY during the open house which is July 20 – September 2. This stunning show home featuring Shaw products will benefit Southampton Hospital.
The HGTV Smart Home 2013, located in Paradise Key South Beach Community in Jacksonville, Florida, took its inspiration from coastal Northeast Florida architecture. This stunning coastal-cottage-style home features carpet, hardwood, and area rugs from the HGTV HOME Flooring by Shaw collection.
