Donna Burlison, customer service representative at PPG Industries’ industrial coatings manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, Illinois, has presented a PPG Industries Foundation check for $1,000 to Rome Grade School teachers Chad Beckham and Janelle Edwards. Mr. Beckham and Ms. Edwards will be engaging students with hands-on projects funded by the grant.
“PPG is strongly committed to supporting the communities where it operates and the schools where its employees are involved,” Burlison said. “I know that my grandchildren, MaKayla Oliver and Rylee Arnett, will benefit from the projects along with their classmates.”
