The April US butadiene contract price settled at a rollover at an 84-86 cents/lb ($1,852-1,896/mt) split settlement, sources said Sunday on the sidelines of the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers' annual conference.
ExxonMobil settled at 86 cents/lb, while LyondellBasell, Shell Chemical and TPC Group settled at 84 cents/lb, sources said.

Market expectations were for a rollover to slightly lower April US butadiene CP because of weaker demand despite tighter supply in the market.
The US butadiene spot price was last assessed Friday at 84 cents/lb CIF US Gulf Coast. Supply has been tight in the market due to imports from Europe drying up, sources said.
The March US butadiene contract price settled 3-8 cents/lb higher than February at an 84-86 cents/lb split settlement, with ExxonMobil at 86 cents/lb, while TPC Group, Shell Chemical and LyondellBasell settled at 84 cents/lb, sources said.
