Tap Provides The Following Update on The Malida-1 ST1 Sidetrack Exploration Well

Tap Oil Limited (ASX: TAP) provides the following update on the Malida-1 ST1 (A) sidetrack exploration well in the Northern Gulf of Thailand. The Malida-1 discovery well has been plugged and the sidetrack well will test a separate structure adjacent to the structure tested by Malida-1.

Location/Proposed Depth

Malida-1/ Malida-1 ST1 (A) is located in the G1/48 concession in the Gulf of Thailand approximately 5 kilometres northeast of the Manora oil development. Mubadala Petroleum is the operator of G1/48. Following an oil discovery in Malida-1, the well was plugged back and sidetracked to test a separate structure (Malida A) located to the north and adjacent to

the structure tested by Malida-1.

Progress

During the period 0600 WST on 2 December 2013 to 0600 WST on 9 December 2013, Malida-1 ST1 (A) was drilled to the selected core point at a depth of 2,688 metres measured depth and commenced pulling out of the hole in preparation for coring operations as planned.

Forward Plan

The forward plan is to drill Malida-1 ST1 (A) to a final total depth of 3,225 metres measured depth.
