Planetary Gears Self-Aligning Spherical Roller Bearings Research Won First Place

Reviewed by the appraisal committee of China Machinery Science & Technology Award, meanwhile approved by the management committee of China Machinery Science & Technology Award, "Planetary Gears Self-aligning Spherical Roller Bearings Research" applied by LYC has won the first place on 2011 "China Machinery Science & Technology Award", which is the highest honor for Chinese bearing industry since the establishment of such award. China Machinery Science & Technology Award is one of the significant prizes in China machinery industry which is hosted by China Machinery Industry Federation, mainly rewarding for the basic theory and invention in machinery area, meanwhile the scientific & technological ahievements with practical value through lots of researching, developing, testing, application so as to improve productivity. Accordingly, the implementation of this project made breakthrough in the aspect of common technology of high-end bearings in bearing industry, which has built a high-end products R & D platform integrated material, designing, manufacturing and testing for LYC. At the same time, it also improved the indpendent innovation capability for the whole bearing industry, meanwhile promoted the full enhancement for bearing processing technology and other relevant technologies.
