After walking the red carpet at the gala premiere in LA on Monday, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner jetted straight over to London for the much-anticipated UK Premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
The event was held at London's biggest and best premiere location, Leicester Square, where the cast appeared for their final film farewell last Wednesday evening.
PRG lighting designer Neil Harvey and senior account manager Jay Call supplied (heart) productions with a comprehensive rigging and lighting package that spanned most of Leicester Square.
The design incorporated a mix of generic fixtures to illuminate the red carpet, with the support of GS beams, Color blast's, Big lights and Alpha Beam 700's that were used to create a vivid backdrop to the event.
For the rigging, Jay supplied and installed a self-climbing ground support based on PRG's Smartmast Tower System that ran the length of both the North and East edges of the Square. This was used to support lighting, sound, LED and a backing screen to mask the gardens from view.
Marc Smith, Founder of (heart) productions commented, "I just wanted to personally thank all at PRG for their efforts in delivering the 'epic finale' of the launch events of The Twilight Saga.
"The production was conceived and delivered in less than a fortnight, and PRG's project managers showed exceptional prowess to deliver a complex project in a difficult working environment; and what was produced looked truly stunning on the night!"
The event was project managed by Alex Horne and Crew Chief was PRG's Cameron Bannister, while James Hamilton operated the lighting using a Grand MA.
