Cardinal Health, a healthcare services company, has short-listed Datameer for healthcare data discovery, to help improve the lives of its customer's patients.
Under the deal, Datameer will provide self-service tools required for visualization and understanding of data to make meaningful decisions.

The company that provides pharmaceuticals and medical products is implementing data architecture to improve speed and analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured information.
Cardinal Health information and integration architecture vice president Neeraj Kumar said the company needed an option that would meet business users' requirements to view and pivot data in a spreadsheet format.
"To meet scalability needs, we had to have the ability to leverage the Big Data platform for data processing rather than invest in large servers. Datameer met both those requirements," said Kumar added.
