South Korean automaker Kia Motors has unveiled the 2013 Cerato sedan, the longer, lower and wider version of its earlier model.
The carmaker is planning to manufacture the next generation extended wheelbase Cerato, also known as Forte in some countries, with a new bodyshell structure.
The vehicle will also feature LED front and rear lamps and a chrome-finished beltline.
According to the carmaker, the new Cerato, to be called 'K3' in South Korea, will also feature enhanced quality, upgraded equipment, an improved cabin space and a modified engine line-up which is expected to enhance the fuel efficiency.
For Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE markets, the new sedan is expected to be powered by a 1.8-litre engine which will generate 148hp output.
The new Cerato sedan is expected to go on sale in Korea in late 2012 with the global sales expected during the first quarter of 2013.
