Recently, AK Steel released its alloy surcharges for stainless steel products for February deliveries.
After the adjustment, the alloy surcharges for 304 grades are at US$0.7839/lb., up by 1.2%; those for 201 grades are at US$0.52/lb., rising by 1.5% and those for 316 grades are at US$1.163/lb., increasing by 2%, all compared to the alloy surcharges for January deliveries.
Meanwhile, AK Steel cuts the alloy surcharges for 430 grades to US$0.2181/lb. for February from US$0.2128/lb. for January.
