Australia-based Smart Lid Systems has announced the launch of its takeout coffee lids through the café outlets serving Foxtel Australia, News, The Royal National Park, and the Museum of Sydney.
The Smart Lid is said to undergo a change in color when it is placed onto a cup of hot coffee or tea. Once the drink cools, the packaging will return to its dark color.
Smart Lid Systems director Anthony Bayss said the company's new Smart Lid grabs the attention of coffee drinkers.
"The Smart Lid was invented by café owners, for café owners and we have applied decades of combined café & barista service to develop a product that places coffee house owners and consumers at ease regarding the safety concerns of hot beverage spillages," Bayss added.
