Turkey's Steel Pipe Exports Increased by 4.52 Percent Year on Year

 In the first seven months of the current year, Turkey's steel pipe exports increased by 4.52 percent year on year to 1.12 million metric tons, according to the statistics provided by the Turkish Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association (CEBID). The value of these exports totaled $949.08 million, decreasing by 0.65 percent year on year.

In January-July period of this year, the largest export markets for Turkish steel pipes were Iraq, the US and the UK. In the given period, Turkish steel pipe exports to Iraq decreased by 17.36 percent to 200,480 mt, while exports to the US rose by 15.4 percent to 161,933 mt and exports to the UK increased by 78.4 percent to 161,588 mt, all year on year. Meanwhile, in the given period, Turkey's steel pipe exports to Israel increased by 155.57 percent year on year to 57,012 mt.

On the other hand, in July this year, Turkey's steel pipe exports increased by 21.96 percent compared to June and were up 8.02 percent year on year, amounting to 161,950 mt. The value of these exports was $137.08 million, up 20.43 percent month on month and decreasing by 1.52 percent year on year.
