The memorandum stated "In light of the above circumstances, we humbly request your kind authority to carry out necessary inspection of the said factories and take necessary penal action against the company."
The Navelim villagers stated "Sesa Goa Ltd has been carrying out transportation of coke through tipper trucks from its old pig iron plant at Amona to factories through public roads which has been causing dust pollution."
