UPS has added to its UPS Temperature True Packaging service with four new, specially designed packaging lines.
The Temperature True service offers temperature-sensitive storage and transportation solutions, consultative expertise and services, ranging from Controlled Room Temperature to cryogenic (-150 degrees C), dedicated to companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and life sciences industries.
The company says that its proprietary packaging options are of benefit to healthcare companies shipping specialty pharmaceuticals, biologics, diagnostic specimens, vaccines and clinical trials, offering more flexibility, convenience and choices with excellent tracking and visibility throughout the supply chain.
The four new cold-chain packaging lines have been engineered, tested and pre-qualified for use across UPS's network in the US and are designed to adapt to the budget and risk-mitigation requirements.

Besides these new packaging lines, UPS Temperature True Packaging service also includes expert consultation and package procurement.
UPS Temperature True Packaging supports more than 500 healthcare companies globally.
UPS Temperature True Packaging follows launches of UPS Temperature True Cryo and three new UPS Temperature True freight service levels that allow for different time-in-transit and control options for bulk shipments.
