On September 25, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in mid-September this year (September 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.787 million mt, down 0.45 percent compared to early September (September 1-10).
According to the CISA's previous figures, in early September this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.795 million mt, up 7.1 percent from late August (August 21-31).
Meanwhile, as of September 20, 2014, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 15.898 million mt, up 5.03 percent as compared to the figure recorded on September 10.
