It is reported that Michigan Seamless Tube (MST), a leading North American steel pipe produce planned to invest approximately US$25 million in order to upgrade its South Lyon, Michigan facility. Meanwhile, Optima Specialty Steel Inc. will invest US$19 million for a new cold pilger mill and associated facility which expects to operate in early of 2015. The rest of money will be invested on an atmosphere-controlled furnace, which expects to start the operation in April 2014. The company expects to gain market shares for diversify product line.
