Imagine clothing which shapes your body as well as makes your skin shine.
Combining the concepts of beauty, fashion and wellbeing, Emana and Calzedonia have come up with shaping products which make women feel better as well as well-dressed.
The new shaping products in the spring /summer 2015 collection by Calzedonia, have been manufactured using the Emana smart yarn, which when comes in contact with skin, facilitates heat exchange and boosts skin microcirculation, thus improving skin appearance.
In more scientific terms, Emana absorbs heat from the human body and returns it in the form of far infrared rays, which are imperceptible, harmless waves of thermal energy. These rays stimulate skin’s microcirculation and give benefits like increasing skin elasticity and reducing skin imperfections.
According to a company release, Emana is an innovative polyamide yarn with bioactive minerals. It has been developed by global business unit Fibras of the Solvay Group. It is produced and marketed in Europe exclusively by Fulgar, a leading European company in the synthetic and coated yarn sector.
The yarn is extremely comfortable to wear and retains its properties even after washings since the technology is an integral part of the yarn, the release said.
The clinical tests conducted by independent international cosmetic labs have found Emana to be safe for skin. The yarn has also been certified by Oeko-Tex.
To begin with Calzedonia has launched push-up leggings, and shorts in two forms - long and petite. The company recommends continuous use for six hours a day over a four-week period for visible results.
