In the first 11 months this year, Georgia's exports of semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel to Turkey, the country's main trading partner, amounted to 58,933 metric tons, totaling a value of $27.58 million, according to the data provided by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat). No semi-finished product exports were recorded in the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, in the January-November period of this year Georgia's exports of bars and rods of iron to Turkey surged to 25,298 mt with a value of $14.58 million, up from just 149.3 mt in the first 11 months of 2012.
