AD and CVD Duties on Flat Imports to The Us Were Kept in Force

Tags: hot-rolled, AD

The US International Trade Commission made its final determination Tuesday in the second sunset review of the antidumping orders (AD) orders on hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from China, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Ukraine and the countervailing duty (CVD) orders on hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from India, Indonesia, and Thailand.

The ITC made affirmative determinations with respect to all countries that revocation of the orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of injury to the domestic industry.

Accordingly, because the US Department of Commerce had previously made affirmative determinations in its sunset reviews of these orders, the AD orders on hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from China, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Ukraine and the CVD orders on hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from India, Indonesia, and Thailand will remain in force for a further period of five years.
