ACE USA, the US-based retail operating division of property and casualty insurer ACE Group, has launched Foreign Casualty Pollution Liability coverage endorsement for its clients.
The new endorsement offers borderless international pollution liability protection for sudden and accidental first and third-party environmental liabilities.
ACE Foreign Casualty senior vice president Bryan Tedford said that the new environmentally-focused endorsement provides insurance and risk management solutions for US-based, mid-sized and large multinational clients that do business globally.
Foreign Casualty Pollution Liability coverage endorsement features dedicated limit of liability of $1m per/$1m aggregate, international coverage territory and dedicated environmental claims specialists.
The endorsement also provides first and third party coverage for new pollution conditions on a gradual basis such as bodily injury, property damage to the personal property of a third party on, at, or under a covered location.
ACE Environmental Risk vice president Jon Peeples said that the endorsement has been designed to help multinational businesses to mitigate the risks associated with ongoing environmental exposures.
"This new endorsement allows ACE to provide customized, innovative risk management solutions to address the growing complex environmental risks and exposures multinational risk managers may face throughout their day-to-day operations," Peeples added.
