Florida-based discount medical plan organization Clinica Venamer has installed Esaote North America's open, non-claustrophobic musculoskeletal G-scan Brio MRI system at its facility in Coral Way, Miami, US.
The installation of the G-scan Brio MRI system will allow Clinica Venamer to offer weight-bearing, or stand-up MRI services to its South Florida's patients with pain in the back and lower extremities.
Featuring a new eXP technology, the system is expected to reduce exam times by 40% and maintain image quality.
Clinica Venamer clinical assistant Freddy Martin said the center is focused in patients' satisfaction and comfort.
"The G-scan Brio with eXP is a hit with our patients, especially those who have had a previous MR exam," Martin added.
"When they walk in the room and see how open the system is, they just relax -- which makes the experience more pleasant for our patients and results in better images for our physicians."
