US-based private equity firm Delos Capital has acquired Illinois-based customized and engineered packaging products manufacturer, FCA Packaging, for an undisclosed amount.
The company was acquired from a group of private investors and Delos also partnered with one of the founders and management in the transaction.
Founded in 1985, FCA supplies a range of highly customised, heavy-duty industrial packaging products and services to many original equipment manufacturers which work for industries like non-residential construction, heavy duty engines, agriculture, mining and energy.
Delos managing partner Matthew Constantino said: "Delos is excited to partner with the FCA management team for the next stage of the Company's growth. FCA has a long history being a best-in-class provider of comprehensive packaging solutions to its customers. We believe this partnership with management will forge a path toward significant growth."

FCA specialises in manufacturing custom engineered skids, crates, pallets, boxes, collapsible boxes and other packaging solutions.
After 2003, the company has added other facilities like design engineering and testing facility in its Coal Valley unit with several more manufacturing sites pending or in construction.
