GCL-Poly Signed Agreement with CGN to Install 1GW of Solar Capacity in China

GCL-Poly has signed a provisional agreement with CGN Solar Energy Development (CGN) to install 1GW of solar capacity in China’s Shanxi province. Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), as well as on-site management, carried out by GCL, while CGN, a subsidiary of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group will provide technical assistance. GCL is planning to install the 1GW in Datong City on a phase-by-phase basis, with CGN signing separate contracts for each stage. Although a formal contract is yet to be signed, CGN has agreed to make a down-payment to GCL-Poly before construction begins.
