Primera Technology will unveil new LX500e label printer and CX1200e color label press at Empack Madrid event in Spain.
The event will take between 23 and 24 November in Madrid.
Part of the LX-series printers, the new LX500e features a new engine that provides print speed from 25mm per second to 51mm per second.
The new printer, which is the successor of firm’s smallest label printer LX400e, includes tri-colour ink cartridge with enhanced capacity and an optional built-in cutter.
CX1200e color label press is a roll-to-roll dry toner-based laser printer developed for service bureaus and multiple manufacturers who need to print few labels to tens of thousands of labels at a time.
The press delivers professional full-colour print with 2400 dpi print resolution and print speed of five meters per minute.
Printed labels are waterproof, highly scratch, smudge and tear-resistant, and they can be used indoors or outside as the ink is UV-resistant.
FX1200e digital finishing system is the suitable accessory to the CX1200e color label press. It includes various different operations, including lamination, digital die cutting, waste matrix removal, slitting and rewinding.
Through using Primera’s QuadraCut technology, the labels can be produced in different sizes and shapes, including complicated contour cuts.
Primera Technology Europe managing director Andreas Hoffmann said: “Smaller companies usually start with pre-designed or even handmade labels, but when they get bigger they need to professionalise the production of their labels.
“For start-up and small business our entry-level colour label printers LX500e and LX900e are the best choice.”
