Germany-based RPC Bramlage has introduced a range of high quality in-mould label (IML) standard containers and lids for spreads and yellow fats.
The company has developed these containers to meet the increasing market demand for cost-effective packaging that help in distinguishing one brand from another and generating on-shelf impact.
The new range of containers is available in four sizes, from 250g to 1kg. The 250g, 400g and 500g packs fit a single lid that makes them fully interchangeable and offer maximum flexibility on filling lines.
RPC Bramlage sales manager Peter Van Dyck said: "As markets become more competitive, we are seeing an increasing market focus on high quality decoration for spreads, and yellow fats in particular, in order to attract attention on-shelf and establish and retain consumer loyalty.
"IML ideally suits this requirement, while the flexibility of our range allows manufacturers to respond quickly to changes in market demands."
The in-mould labeling in the containers allow intricate and multi-colored designs to be created to cover the entire area of the packs to give a level of finish and detail that otherwise could not have been created by on-pack printing.
The containers are injected moulded in polypropylene. A metal-effect can also be given to the labels apart from creating a barrier to prevent oxygen from entering the products.
Located in Lohne, Germany, the company creates high-quality packaging solutions for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food and technical packaging.
With the help of the latest technologies in tool making, RPC produces injection moulding, multi-component injection moulding, IML (in-mould-labelling), blow moulding, decoration and assembly.
