Xeikon will exhibit its digital color printing systems, basysPrint computer-to-plate (CtP) UV platesetters and ThermoflexX digital platemaking systems for the flexographic market at the Printtek 2013 International Fair in Istanbul (Turkey) from 17 to 22 May.
The Xeikon 3300 has been designed for the label and packaging market and its LED array imaging delivers 1200dpi resolution for better print quality.
According to the company, the system also prints on a variety of substrates including self-adhesive material, co-extruded films, Bopp, PVC and PET, paperboards and paper grades ranging from 40 to 350 gsm, as well as transparent and opaque PET films.
Xeikon will demonstrate the basysPrint VLF UV-Setter in partnership with Sigma, which is available in three field-upgradeable versions, Manual, Semi-Automatic and Automatic.
Xeikon's flEXpo (Flexible Exposure) option, to be introduced for the VLF manual version, offers the ability to load and unload one 8-up plate, while imaging another 8-up plate simultaneously.
The company will also display the ThermoFlexX digital imager for imaging of flexographic and letterpress printing plates. It is compatible with all commercial ablative masked photopolymer plate materials.
The flatbed basysPrint 861x-F UV-Setter, which will also be on display, handles plate formats from as small as 200mm x 200mm up to a maximum 940mm x 1150mm.
