It's reported that the world's largest nickel and palladium producer Norilsk Nickel (Norilsk) in Russia may suspend its operations of Tati Nickel mine in Botswana on a slump in metal prices.
Global prices for nickel have fallen 10% since the beginning of this year, forcing Norilsk to review some production.
The company has already suspended operations at Lake Johnson in Australia in April 2013 by the falling price trend and may also decide to suspend Tati Nickel's operations in Botswana.
