Amazon China said that its South China Operational Center will settle down in Talent Valley of Guangzhou. Board chairman of South Logistics Group Co., Ltd., operator of Talent Valley, revealed that the operational center is the first and so far the biggest project introduced by the e-commerce park.
The operational center will cover 17 hectares and has a total investment surpassing CNY 300 million, radiating provinces like Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Yunnan and Hainan.
Till now, Amazon China already has had eleven local operational centers with total area breaking 70 hectares, becoming the biggest operational network for Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) outside the US.
