SPIC and Mingyang Electric Group (Mingyang Electric) held the signing ceremony for strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Wang Binghua, the Secretary of Party Leadership and Chairman of SPIC, Xia Zhong, the Party Member and Deputy General Manager, Zhang Chuanwei, the Chairman of Mingyang Electric, Wang Limin, the President of Mingyang Electric, Vice President Yang Pu, etc. attended the ceremony.
At the symposium before signing ceremony, Wang Binghua briefly introduced the development of clean energy of SPIC. He said that, SPIC, at present, has set offshore wind power as one of business development keys domestically. And we will work together with Mingyang Electric, to promote continuous development of offshore wind power in Guangdong, and drive its scale development of wind power industry, so as to blaze a new path for development of clean energy. He expected that, Mingyang Electric can adhere to draw on each other’s strength, provide equipment and services of high quality and reliability, and meet investors’ needs in aspects of security, reliability, economy as well as guarantee level and capability of life cycle.
Zhang Chuanwei recalled smooth cooperation between two sides and expressed his gratitude to SPIC for its support to Mingyang Electric. He expressed that Mingyang Electric regards exploitation of clean energy resources as its mission, committing to the development & design, product manufacturing as well as operation and maintenance services for megawatt-class fan and core components of its industry chain. In the future, we will continue to strengthen technical innovation, enhance the quality of electrical equipment, and provide customers with services of quality, effectiveness and whole life-cycle. He hoped that both sides can deepen cooperation on wind power based on integrity and on pragmatic basis.
Li Guanghua, the General Manager of SPIC Strategic Planning Department, and Wang Limin, the President of Mingyang Electric, on behalf of SPIC and Mingyang Electric respectively, signed on SPIC-Mingyang Electric Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Offshore Wind Power. Based on the Agreement, both sides, based on principles of “complementary advantages, market leading, mutual benefit and win-win situation”, will conduct in-depth cooperation on fields such as development of offshore wind power, industry cluster construction of offshore wind power, cooperation on offshore wind power technology and international market development of offshore wind turbines.
