Swedish company Finner dja with its Superfos’s SuperLock to package a new berry and fruit purée to help keep the products fresh for longer.
The product Bara Br - meaning Simply Berries is a new product and required a packaging to send a signal about its originality.
The packaging is made of injection moulded polypropylene with barrier protection and has very low oxygen transmission rates that increases the shelf life of products by up to two years.
Finnerdja market and sales representative Frida Engstrm said: "To us, the SuperLock pot with oxygen barrier protection appeared to be the obvious choice. We had a unique, new product to sell, so the packaging solution had to match this profile.
"The click-on screw lid pleases our customers," she continues. "The easy opening and reclosure is ideal for people, who quickly want to boost a yogurt, make some porridge tastier or twist a smoothie with healthy berry purée."
RPC uses a new integrated barrier foil which covers all surfaces on the packaging of SuperLock. It is also said to be membrane sealed which ensures that oxygen is not transmitted into the containers.
According to RPC, SuperLock also offers in-moulded labels on all surfaces with a good graphic quality.
The company produces SuperLock in sizes between 65 ml and 535 ml.
