China - The 1912 blocks of the trendy Nanjing, China are draped in history and modern luxuries. The year 1912 is known as one of the most bustling and prosperous periods in the history of Nanjing and the district carries over the historical and nostalgic background in its architecture and layout. Built around the Presidential Palace, the commercial buildings still carry characteristics of the Republic of China over a century later. Nanjing's popularity is rooted in its vibrant nightlife, trendy shops and restaurants.
Club Enzo is the latest addition to the popular strip and this new 9500ft? club is considered the flagship venue of the Nanjing Trendsetter Entertainment Management Co brand. The club was designed and architecturally constructed with high calibre dance music in mind. Adamson products were chosen due to their effectiveness and performance, and installed as a distributed system. The large installation features Adamson products exclusively; there are 16 x M212 and 42 x Point 15-P (passive) hanging above the dance floors and lounge area with at least two direct sound points on every seat in the building.
The low end extension is covered by 32 flown Point 215 subs, with six Adamson T21 subs placed strategically, blasting out 6000 watts of bass. The goal was to ensure they could push the limits, with a max SPL level at a whopping 130dB all the while maintaining a ?3dB uniformity throughout the venue. Performance director Wu proudly states that, "Now Club Enzo has most dynamic sound in the Nanjing District."
The design and installation was independently designed by Real Music Acoustic & Lighting Technology Co, the exclusive distributor for Adamson Products in China, Hong Kong and Macao. They chose to pair the Adamson spakers with the Camco Vortex series of amplifiers and the APEX Intelli-X248 audio processor.
Real Music's Wang Zhen explains, "There are 24 DSP channels in three APEX Intelli-X248, with M212's divided into two groups which take four channels, the 42 Point 15-P's take 12 channels, Point 215 Sub take the remaining 8 channels."
This is Real Music's second permanent installation of Adamson products in a nightclub after the recent transformation of the popular TNT Club in Xi'an, China. Nanjing Trendsetter Entertainment Management chose to adopt the Adamson system in TNT Club as well as the Enzo Club after a shootout with the leading French and British brands.
