Saxco International has created new packaging design for L’Chaim Kosher Vodka, which is being introduced for Jewish population by brand owner Ralph Mizraji of Bal Harbour.
Saxco new product development manager Jimmy Owens said the company's role was to help create a new package design that would deliver a different shelf presence.
"Owens worked closely with Mizraji to help create the look and feel of a top shelf design package, while adhering to both time and budget considerations," Owens said.
Initially, the packaging company sourced and supplied a cosmetic quality 1.75l flint bottle with a long neck, rounded shoulders and a flat bottom from the US-based Everware Glass.
The company approached Hanes Erie to produce the screen printing for the 360-degree silver, black and gold decorative graphic for the bottle.
Saxco also supplied a black Stelcap for the bottle's closure which complimented the other features of the package, and additionally sourced and supplied the six-bottle white shipping cartons imprinted with black lettering.
The cartons, which were supplied by International Paper, were perforated so they could be used for point-of-purchase display showcasing the decorated bottles.
The new vodka is being bottled by LiDestri Spirits in Rochester, New York.
