Japanese Rebar Makers Lift up Their Rebar Prices for March Due to Higher Costs on Scrap

According to report, Japanese rebar makers lift up their rebar prices for March due to higher costs on scrap.

Kyoei Steel, the largest rebar maker, said it added about 2,000/ton (US$22/ton) to normal size of rebar to the price of 62,000/ton.

And Tokyo D-Bar Steel also announced it would hike its price by 5,000/ton (US$54/ton) to 65,000/ton.

Tokyo Steel Manufacturing also said it is going to surge its product prices by 3,000/ton to 60,000/ton.
