Disruptive innovation is at it again with the new M18 Milwaukee blower. ?Well it may not be that disruptive because Makita has had one for a while now. ?The 0884-20?puts out a bit more CFM than the Makita but with less airspeed. ?Recently testing the Husqvarna 580BTS I realized that its all about CFM. ?How much air it moves through that pipe is key to its clearing ability. ?The job site is dirty and cleaning tools are always needed. ?The blower is almost a necessity for outdoor jobs. ?The Milwaukee blower weighs 2.6lbs and puts out 100 CFM @ 160MPH. ?For an 18V blower is quite powerful and according to Milwaukee the most powerful in its class.
3 speed settings and a variable speed trigger will allow versatility for different applications. ? ? The?0884-20 looks simple and has a M18 style drill grip as a handle. ?It looks to be very one hand friendly and ergonomic. ?No run times have been published yet. My guess would be around 8-12 minutes full out ?The unit can also be used as an inflater. ?Stay tuned we hope to have a video on one soon.
