Graco Sells Ball Ground Aircraft Sealant Repackaging Business Assets to Royal Adhesives

CM Equity Partners's portfolio firm Graco Supply Company has divested the assets of the Ball Ground aircraft sealant repackaging business to Royal Adhesives & Sealants.

Financial details of acquisition have not been disclosed by both the companies.

Graco started the Ball Ground business in Georgia in 2007. It offers point-of-use pre-mixed and frozen aircraft sealants and other packaging and application kits to aircraft manufacturers and their subcontractors.

Ball Ground is an ISO 9001: 2008, AS9100C, AS9120A, and NADCAP registered facility.

Graco Supply CEO Steve Novakovich said: "The sale of the Ball Ground facility to a trusted supplier/partner in Royal will enable Graco to reap the benefit of many years of hard work and excellent performance by the Ball Ground team at a time when sealant packaging capacity is in high demand.

“It will facilitate further growth for the Ball Ground site and allow Graco to focus on its core mission of providing critical materials and value-added services to the aerospace and defense industries through distribution and vendor managed inventory engagements."

Royal Adhesives & Sealants CEO Ted Clark said: "The acquisition of the Ball Ground business is a logical step in our strategy to develop a global aircraft sealant business.

“Graco Supply, who has been our distributor/partner since we entered the aircraft sealant business over ten years ago, has been instrumental in supporting the development of our sealant business."
