ebeam Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of electron beam (EB) curing systems, has added inks producer INX International to its portfolio.
The companies have formed a partnership, which will boost the development of new ebeam solutions for print and packaging production.
INX is claimed to be the third largest producer of ink in North America. The company, which has more than 15 facilities in the US and Canada, is a worldwide supplier as part of Sakata INX worldwide operations.
It offers a range of ink and coating solutions technology for commercial, packaging and digital print applications.
Switzerland-headquartered ebeam designs, manufactures and integrates electron beam technology solutions for global customers.
It has production and engineering facilities in Switzerland and the US.
INX Digital International Sales & Marketing manager Stefano Rogora said: “At INX, our mission is to meet our customers’ needs and goals with technological developments and continuous improvement in environmentally clean manufacturing.”
ebeam Technologies business development manager Elsa Callini said: “ebeam technologies works with a wide variety of solutions developers to find new ways to help solve print and packaging challenges.
“INX is a fantastic new addition to our growing partner community and we’re really excited to be working with INX to help bring continued innovation to the print and packaging industry.”
In March, ebeam formed a partnership with Uteco Converting, an Italian printing and packaging machines manufacturer.
The companies plan to integrate ebeam’s curing technology into Uteco’s flexographic, laminating & coating solutions and also to explore new applications for challenging substrates.
The sales and marketing and business development teams of the two companies will also work together under the partnership.
