According to market research firm Flurry Analytics’ latest research report, China has surpassed the U.S. as the world's largest smartphone and tablet market.
Flurry Analytics investigated a large number of mobile applications usage and device characteristics. According to Flurry Analytics, in January of this year, there were a total of 222 million smart phones and tablet PCs in an active state in the United States, and the number of active devices in China was 221 million. It is estimated that to the end of February, total number of active smartphones and tablet computers in China will reach 246 million, higher than United States’ 230 million.
China and the United States are the world's largest smart phone markets. The third largest smart phone market is the UK, whose number of active smartphone is 43 million.
