Bahrain s Falcon Cement Co (FCC) has signed an engineering service agreement with Thailand s LV Technology (LVT) to upgrade and set up a new backup cement mill, Saudi Gazette has reported. The deal involves the implementation of "a series of upgrades, which will increase production at our plant and in turn help to reduce the kingdom s dependence on imports," said the executive director of FCC, Salah Sharif.
