US-based specialty films supplier Next Generation Films has ordered a new three-layer blown film line Varex from Windmoeller & Hoelscher.
The new Varex has a working width of 134", grooved feed extruders, Optifil P3 gauge control system, Opticool air ring and a Maxicone C die of 35.43".
Next is also renovating its new 175,000ft2 building on the Next campus for both existing and new blown film equipment. By 2014 end, 12 extrusion lines are expected to be in operation in the facility.
Next Generation Films supplies films to various markets, including the food packaging, automobile, courier, manufactured housing and protective packaging segments.
