The new development will run across its standard crate fit G81 portfolio. The company, which supplies some of Europe’s food processors and retailers throughout the meat, fish, poultry and fresh produce sectors, aims to help the soft fruit industry maintain profitability at a time when it is being adversely affected by unpredictable weather conditions.
Holfeld believes that soft fruit packhouses will benefit from automation, improved utilisation of space and product flow among other advantages.
