SteriPack, a supplier of cleanroom sterilized packaging solutions, has opened a new ISO 13485 Certified manufacturing facility in Lakeland, Florida, US.
The new facility will manufacture Pouches, Header Bags, SteriBags , Die Cut Lids and Rollstock, Contract Manufacturing and many other packaging products in an ISO class 8 clean room.
The company said the products manufactured in the new plant will duplicate its sister companies in Ireland, Poland and Malaysia to service the North and South American markets.
SteriPack president Tony Paolino was quoted by Healthcare Packaging as saying that the company has been exploring several options in the US for the past three years to find the ideal situation and location.
"The facility is a "first in class" operation and draws on the nearly 20 years of experience that SteriPack has manufacturing converted products and providing contract manufacturing services in a class 8 clean room," Paolino added.
