According to statistics released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, Japan produced 214,081 tons of hot rolled (HR) stainless steel products in last November, decreasing by 10.8% from a month ago while rising by 1.7% year on year.
In the first 11 months of 2012, Japan’s HR stainless steel production amounted to 2.6 million tons, decreasing by 4.8% year on year.
Meanwhile, the stocks of stainless steel products hold by the Japanese steel mills decreased by 6% from a month ago to 132,197 ton at the end of November.
