UK-based post-mold labeling supplier T.W. Parkers has installed two Gallus EM 430 S lines at its plant in Bootle on Merseyside in a bid to broaden the scope of its production capability.
According to Gallus Group, the two flexo presses replace three older 330mm wide presses.
The new Gallus EM 430 S is a development of the existing 410mm wide press and is specified with eight UV-flexo stations, cold foil laminating, automatic register and two die stations.
The modular platform design concept of the press allows for flexo and screen heads to be switched easily.
Gallus EM 430 S also has a sliding touch-screen panel that allows the operator to control the press from any point along the line.
