The forthcoming 30th season of Interfilière Paris, an international trade show-cum-sourcing event for lingerie, swimwear, performance fabrics and accessories, is slated to take place from January 24th to 26th, 2015.
The soiree will not only provide opportunities for the innerwear and beachwear specialists to showcase their latest exquisite silk crafted Spring/Summer 2016 designs but would also serve as a business platform to foster trade connections between the nearly 150 exhibiting participants and the approximate 10000 targeted visitors.
Divided into five sectors- Lace it, Brod’cust, Neoskin, Access’Folies, and Sourcing by Interfilière Paris, the event will host also The Trends Forum which will highlight lingerie and beachwear collections under four themes.
The Eve Within theme will comprise a mix of contemporary and vintage style feminine pieces inspired from Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten’s exhibit at the Museum of decorative Arts, Paris and the Sky High and Ocean Deep will feature ensembles, with modern treatments, in shades inspired by science and history.
The theme Indie Attitude will display sustainable ever-lasting lingerie while the Over the Rainbow will be a mixture of contemporary high-tech crafts and colours with a Brazilian twist.
The three-day-long soiree will also include a special showcase titled ‘The Exception’ which would display some of the most beautiful, creative and technical pieces using silk.
According to the industry experts like Maud Cachot, Jos Berry and Jennifer Wigham, Nelly Rodi, Florence Peyrichou and Sophie Laffite, the colour forecasts for S/S16 lingerie and swimwear are cucumber, lassi, terra cota, saffron, chocolate, red lead, summer crimson, teal and gold opal. (PB)
