The 9th Solar&Wind Summit Forum of West China was held recently in Lanzhou City,theme of the forum is"Desert·Sun·Energy".
Speaking of the anti-dumping investigation launched by EU on Chinese PV products,director of UNIDO International Solar Energy Technology Promotion Center,Xi Wenhua said:"To deal with the PV products anti-dumping investigation launched by EU,we can transfer the main market to domestic market and developing countries.PV products produced by China are very popular in developing countries as Africa."
Chinese PV industry accounts for more than 60%of the global market,annual rate of increase exceed 100%for past five years and industry output value has achieved 500 billion RMB.Development of Chinese PV industry mainly rely on support from the government and overseas market.
Experts for prevention and control of desertification and arid area environmental renovation also gave suggestions at the forum.Increasing production of arid regions by solar energy has got good effect in the past ten years.As an effective scientific support to solve food crisis,the technology has been promoted to countries as Kenya Ethiopia and Zambia.
Experts attended the meeting also discuss topics of"Renewable energy development for desert area","Integration technology for solar energy and the building integration","Solar PV and solar-thermal power generation technology","Analysis,investment and financing for solar and wind energy",etc.
