Taiwan Food Products Is Voluntarily Recalling Fish Tempura Sticks in Canada

Taiwan Food Products is voluntarily recalling Fish Tempura Sticks in Canada as it may contain egg that is not mentioned on the labeling, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The product subject to recall was sold frozen in 365 g packages bearing UPC 7 77576 00410 6 and date codes Exp 2013 09 12 or Exp 2013 09 13.

The recalled product has been distributed in Alberta and British Columbia. There have been one reported allergic reaction associated with the consumption of this product.

Customers intolerant to eggs are advised not to consume this product as it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
